We want to encourage you, if you feel safe to join us for one of the weekday Masses, Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at 12:05pm. Always a small crowd of 3-5 people so social distancing is not a problem. Or try the Saturday 4:00pm Mass. We average 4-7 people each Saturday afternoon. If you are missing the Eurchrist this is a great choice and opportunity. Our Sunday Mass is averaging 15-17 parishioners each week. Our social distancing capacity is 26.
Everyone is wearing a mask and masks are available at the door. Our cleaning teams are doing a great job of cleaning each pew after each Mass.
Also, don't forget, if you decide not to attend Mass yet your financial support is still needed. Please mail your envelopes to the church, 828 15th Street, Huntington, WV 25701
Thanks and God bless you.

Reopening of St. Peter Claver
Dear St. Peter Claver Family,
If you click the link below you can read plan for modified resumption of the celebration of Mass and the Eucharist. It is long and detailed. I ask that you carefully read the entire letter. This is only temporary and allows us to resume our liturgy on Monday, May 25th with a 12:05 pm Mass.
This plan is based on current guidance issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other public health authorities. These guidelines also integrate the requirements of the Roman Catholic Church for the valid and licit celebration of Mass, in accord with Catholic teaching, and Canon Law. They are formulated with great care to preserve and respect the reverence due to the Holy Eucharist and the powerful liturgical and sacramental symbolism of the rites we celebrate

Our Parish Prayer
Father, pour Your Spirit on the people of this Parish. Grant us a new vision of Your Glory, a new experience of Your Power, a new faithfulness to Your Word and a new consecration to Your Service so that Your Love may grow among us and Your Kingdom come, through Christ our Lord, Amen.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
