We wish everyone a happy & joyous Easter.

I bring you the announcement of Easter with these words of the Liturgy, which echo the very ancient hymn of praise of the Jews after the passage of the Red Sea.

The Gospel revealed to us the fulfillment of the ancient figures: with his death and resurrection, Jesus Christ freed man from radical slavery, that of sin, and opened the way to the true Promised Land, the Kingdom of God, Universal kingdom of justice, love and peace. This "exodus" takes place first and foremost within man himself, and consists in a new birth in the Holy Spirit, the effect of the Baptism which Christ gave us precisely in the paschal mystery. The old man gives way to the new man; the life before is behind us, we can walk in a new life (see Rom 6 : 4). But the spiritual "exodus" is the beginning of an integral liberation, capable of renewing every human, personal and social dimension.

Yes, Easter is the true salvation of humanity! If Christ - the Lamb of God - had not shed his Blood for us, we would have no hope, our destiny and the destiny of the whole world would inevitably be death. But Easter has reversed the trend: the Resurrection of Christ is a new creation, like a graft that can regenerate the whole plant. It is an event that has changed the profound orientation of history, unbalancing it once and for all on the side of good, of life, of forgiveness. We are free, we are safe! This is why we exult from the depths of our hearts: "Let us sing to the Lord: it is truly glorious!" - PASCHAL MESSAGE OF THE HOLY FATHER

Our Parish Prayer

Father, pour Your Spirit on the people of this Parish.  Grant us a new vision of Your Glory, a new experience of Your Power, a new faithfulness to Your Word and a new consecration to Your Service so that Your Love may grow among us and Your Kingdom come, through Christ our Lord, Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
