March 6th is Ash Wednesday and our Lenten journey begins.  During Lent we take up practices that help us to become aware of and responsive to the needs of others. The three traditional practices of Lent are prayerfasting, and almsgiving. A commitment to these practices during Lent leads to an awareness of God and conversion of the heart. Click here for some suggestions on how to incorporate the traditional Lenten practices into your daily life.

Our Parish Prayer

Father, pour Your Spirit on the people of this Parish.  Grant us a new vision of Your Glory, a new experience of Your Power, a new faithfulness to Your Word and a new consecration to Your Service so that Your Love may grow among us and Your Kingdom come, through Christ our Lord, Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
